- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. This is a synopsis for non-commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 52.213-4. This announcement constitutes proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued on March 12, 2010. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number will be issued under N66604-10-Q-1596. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-27. Size standard is 500. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following items: 1. Tube empty Output, PWA P/N 1223D1318 Qty 5 Ea. 2. Tube Empty Receiver, PWA P/N 1223D1314 Qty 5 Ea. 3. Tube Empty Timing/Driver, PWA P/N 1223D1306 Qty 5 Ea. 4. Tube Empty Power Supply, PWA P/N 1223D1322 Qty 5 Ea. Required delivery is 22 weeks after award, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI. It is expected to place a purchase order with LaBarge, Inc. They are the only known source for these items because they are the only providerof the Deployable array Working Group acoustic sensor. All other timely offers will be considered. Offers for other products must contain complete product information and prices. Evaluation factors are technical capability, price and past performance. Each is equally important. FAR 52.213-4, Terms and Conditions-Simplified Acquisitions (Other than Commercial Items). The following addenda or additional terms and conditions apply: none. Offers should include price and delivery terms and the following additional information: none required. Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating of DO-C9 applies.
