- Att 3 -Wage Determination Att 2 - Fire Plan Att 1 - Drawings & Map Solicitation Document “RECOVERY” - THIS IS A SOLICITATION SYNOPSIS seeking potential Small Business sources that have the interest and the capability to compete in a HUBZone Certified Small Business Set-Aside forum and able to perform a Firm Fixed Price contract. The major work for this project is to provide Re-paving to an existing parking lot at the Mono Lake District Visitor Center, Lee Vining, CA. Work will consist of removal, reprocessing and relaying of asphalt. The parking lot is approximately 32,000 sq. ft. and is to be re-paved by the use of the cold asphalt recycling method. The existing passenger vehicle parking lot is to be removed by grinding off the existing hot bituminous pavement, remixing onsite and relaying the recycled asphalt aggregate with an emulsified asphalt additive. There will also be bid option items that include road slurry seal coating to the finished surface, parking lot stripping to delineate parking locations with six (6) accessible parking sites marked on the surface and signed appropriately for accessibility. Work area is located in the Mono Lake District, Scenic Area Visitor Center, Lee Vining, Inyo National Forest, CA 93551. Specifications, maps, and drawings will be included in the Solicitationthat sill be posted in FBO approximately February 24, 2010. THIS IS A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND A CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The contractor shall provide all management and project administration services, quality control, logistical support, vehicles, equipment and materials/supplies to complete the project on time and on schedule. Work area is located in the Mono Lake District, Scenic Area Visitor Center, Lee Vining, CA 93551. This acquisition is being advertised as a HUBZone Certified Small Business Set-Aside Competition under FAR 19.5 --Set-Asides for Small Business and FAR 19.13 -- Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Program. This is an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funded Project. The estimated construction range of magnitude is $50,000 to $150,000. Contract performance time is 30 days from Issuance of Notice to Proceed. Desired Start Work Date is 5/3/2010. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237310. Contractors are required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Capable of being Bonded for the entire Award Amount. This will be a single award to one HUBZone Small Business.
