- HSCG87-10-B-PJT091 Upgrade and modernize the existing passenger traction elevator P-1 located in the Administration Building N38 at BSU Kodiak, Kodiak, Alaska. The job consists of site work at U.S. Coast Guard Integrated Support Command Kodiak, Alaska. The work includes but is not limited to: converting the existing DC system to an AC system, Code compliance, maintenance and modernization, Control upgrade, new AC VVVF Motor Control, Operation upgrade, new non-proprietary microprocessor based controls, Power Supply Upgrade, New car operating panels with all ADA, fire service and code required features, new surface mounted hall stations, Seismic switch, gripper and counter-weight derailment: The elevator system, when complete, shall meet all current codes both national and local, including the Americans with disabilities act and handicap codes. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811310, and the applicable size standard is $7.0 million dollars in annual receipts for the past three years. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. All responsible small businesses may submit a bid. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form. Solicitation documents may be accessed for download from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website beginning on the date of issue (estimated to be on or about 11 March, 2010) at the following site: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted on this website. Prospective bidders are responsible for checking the website for amendments up to the date and time of bid opening. A planholders list will not be available for this project from CEU-Juneau. Vendors are encouraged to register their interest by entering their information in the Interested Vendors List for this solicitation in FedBizOpps.
