- NOTICE OF INTENT - Brand Name Justification for SAP Business Objects Software License and Maintenance Agreement The Internal Revenue Service intends to award a purchase order for commercial items. We will be issuing an order to a Federal Supply Service (FSS) schedule contractor. This purchase order will be made under the Authority of FAR Part 11.105 and FAR Part 52.211-6 - Brand Name or Equal. The IRS is purchasing a single service license (perpetual) of Inxight software and one year maintenance. The Internal Revenue Service, Criminal Investigation Division (CID), initiated the Voluntary Disclosure Analysis Capability (VDAC) that will automate particular analytic processes using technologies including Text Analytics and Link Analysis. The primary purpose of VDAC is to identify and extract key entity types from a variety of source document types including Memorandums of Interview, Voluntary Disclosure forms, and personal letters/correspondence using Text Analytics software. The documents to be analyzed will all be in digital form (converted/OCR from paper documents if necessary), and the format will vary but may include Microsoft Word, PDF, or text files. The delivery order will be fulfilled by one GSA FSS schedule contractor. Solicitation Number is TIRNO-10-K-00150. Award will be made on or before February 25, 2010.
