Description
Maintenance dredging performed on federal navigation channels in Alabama, Mississippi and Florida by rental cutterhead pipeline dredges. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 237990. The solicitation will be abailable for download on 10 March 2010. The estimated value of this procurement is $25,000,000.00 to $100,000,000.00. The contracting officer is Mrs. Donna Parker. Note No. 1: All prospective contractors and their subcontractors and suppliers must be registered in Federal Business Opportunities (fedbizops) before they will be allowed to download solicitation information. Contractors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of this contract. Solicitation Documents, plans and specifications will only be available via FedBizOpps. Registration for plans and specifications should be made via FedBizOpps internet homepage. If you are not registered, the United States government is not responsible for providing you with notifications of any changes to this solicitation. The solicitation will be available only as directed download. This solicitation will not be issued on CD-ROM. Neither telephonic, mailed nor fax requests will be accepted. Registration should be completed one week prior to the issue date. It is therefore the Contractors responsibility to monitor the website daily for the solicitation to be posted and for any posted changes or amendments to these modifications hereto. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a printed-paper format however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Governments best interest. NOTE: this solicitation is in.pdf format and requires Adobe Acrobat Reader. Note No. 2: All advertisements of Mobile District projects will be through the Federal Business opportunities (FedBizOpps). Detailed information on this and other Mobile District Projects (ordering Solicitations, Points of Contact, Synopsis of Work, etc.) are available on the Internet at: www.fbo.gov. The specifications will be issued on www.fbo.gov, and will be provided free of charge. Note No. 3: Offeror must insert a price on all numbered items of the bid schedule. Failure to do so will disqualify the bid. All the extensions of the unit prices shown will be subject to verification by the Government. In case of variation between the unit price and the extension, the unit price will be considered to be the bid. Note No. 4: The number of hours bid is estimated. The contractor may be required to work either more or less than the number of hours bid. Note No. 5: Only one contract will be awarded on this bid schedule. Proposals will be evaluated in accordance with the following clause: Note No. 6: All bid forms, bid bonds and other normal documents required for the bid submittal, including amendments to the bid submittal, shall be in paper medium. Electronic medium for the bid submittal documents will not be allowed. Note No. 7: For this job, a small business is defined as having average annual receipts of less than $20.0M for the past three years. Note No. 8: Critical path method is not required. Note No. 9: Some Task Orders under this IDIQ may be funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
