- RECOVERYThis is a pre-solicitation notice for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision to complete the following: General construction at and around the Anthony Library:with the site modification at the south side of the building, the basement door will be made accessible. This door will be the point of entry for handicapped people as well as for loading dock. To make this entrance accessible the existing concrete pad will be raised approximately 8. This concrete pad area will be connected to a ramp leading down to two handicapped parking spaces north of Byrd Brady House. The parking space work is not park of this project but the work will be coordinated with that project. Also the main entrance on the east side of the building will bemade ADA compliant. Foundation drainage will also be installed around the building and the alleyway on the north side enlarged. The project performance period is 365 days after issuance of the notice to proceed. The NAICS code is 238990. The small business size standard is $14Million. The estimated price range for this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This project is being solicited and awarded as an 8(a) competitive set-aside. Accordingly, it is open to SBA certified 8(a) businesses only. The solicitation will be posted to the websiteshttp://www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about March 2nd, 2010.
