- Description
- The 628th Contracting Squadron at Charleston AFB, SC will solicit for an Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) for exterior/interior and maintenance/repair of approximately 405 military family housing units (MFH) at Charleston Air Force Base (AFB), South Carolina. Dollar magnitude is NTE $3.8 million for the life of the contract. The contract will have a base year and four potential option years for a possible 5 years. The contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, plant, labor, and supervision to the MFH units at Charleston AFB SC. The work includes but is not limited to: performing all necessary services for interior painting, vinyl siding repair and installation, pressure washing, trim details, walls and ceiling refinishing, ceramic tile floor installation and stripping and waxing of MFH units located in two major sections, the main base (on the East side of Dorchester Road west of the main industrial complex) consisting of approximately 151 units and Hunley Park (on the West side of Dorchester Road) consisting of approximately 254 units. This solicitation will be issued as a 100% SDVOSB competitive set-aside and will be evaluated using Performance Price Tradeoff (PPT) procedures, resulting in the Best Value to the Government. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238320, with a small business size standard of $14,000,000.00. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 10 Mar 10 on Federal Business Opportunities web page at http://www.eps.gov. Paper copies or CDs will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon all interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award.
