Description: RECOVERY: PRE-SOLICIATION NOTICE FOR ROADWAY REPAIRS AT THE FT LEAVENWORTH NATIONAL CEMETERY LOCATED IN FT LEAVENWOTH KS This project is funded from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration (NCA), is soliciting bids from a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) under Solicitation Number VA-786A-10-RA-0037 for the following: Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to road repair, new curb and gutter at the Ft Leavenworth National Cemetery in Ft Leavenworth KS. COST MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. CONTRACT DURATION: Performance period is approximately 60 calendar days from date of receipt of Notice To Proceed. NAICS CODE: 237310 SIZE STANDARD: $33.5M METHOD OF AWARD: THE GOVERNMENT CONTEMPLATES AWARD OF A FIRM FIXED-PICE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT UNDER SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. Award will be made on a competitive basis under Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) 14 to a responsive, responsible service disabled veteran owned small business responding to this solicitation. OBTAINING SOLICITATION MATERIALS: Solicitation material consisting of the Invitation for Bid (IFB) details and specifications may be accessed ONLY via FedBizOpps at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No telephone requests will be accepted. The solicitation documents should be available on or about 3-11-2010. SITE VISIT: No organized site visit has been scheduled. Access to the site is controlled by the Army. Contact the Cemetery Director at Leavenworth National Cemetery at 913-758-4105 before you visit the site. SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will be up loaded to FedBizOpps. Offerors are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation prior to the time for receipt of offers.
