- The U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistic Center, Norfolk, VA, intends to issue a sole source purchase order with DeAngelo Marine Exhaust, Inc. for the Main Diesel Engine (MDE) Exhaust Flange Replacement system. This purchase order will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all responses received within 10 days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete as a result of responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
