- This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the Format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Reference Number N4446610RC121FS is issued as a request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This solicitation is UNRESTRICTED. NAICS 333512. The Trident Refit Facility at Naval Submarine Base, Kings Bay, GA requires the following Item 0001: One Month Rental of Hydratight Portable Journal Turning Lathe. Model MS8JTL Module. Must be portable and capable of being installed on the machine shaft to be repaired. Consisting of hydraulically operated drive motor, tool blocks slide assembly, safety trip system, jack screws to center machine on shaft assemblies, hand tool kit and operating manual. Capable of machining shafts from four (4) inches to 8.875 Inches in diameter. Capable of 25 inch of machine area travel. Part Num: 903-1585. Item 0002: Hydraulic power supply with the following specifications: 20 HP Motor, Flow rate of 5.5 to 17.5 gallons per minute, Capable of maintaining pressure ranging from 0 to 200 PSI, Power requirements of 40 Amp, 3 Phase, 440 Volts. Enough hydraulic hoses to attach or operate turning lathe about 25 feet away, qty 1 each. Brand Name or Equal. If quoting an Equal To, must supply specifications with your quote. Period of Rental will be 03 May 2010 thru 02 Jun 2010.
