- It is the intent of NAVFAC SW FEAD Monterey to issue a solicitation for services as follows. The work includes, but is not limited to, providing 24/7 Central Monitoring Station services, developing, implementing and providing on-going services for a preventive maintenance program, maintenance and repair services on various fire sprinkler systems and fire alarm systems at the Naval Postgraduate School, Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center, La Mesa Village and Lab Rec Areas, Monterey CA. Procurement Method: Firm Fixed Price, Commercial Items, Contracting by Negotiation. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 561621 and the annual size standard is $12.5M. The contract term will be a base period of one year plus four option years. Only the base period of the contract will be funded at the time of award. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract in time, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six months under the Option to Extend Services clause. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No prior contract information exists. The proposed contract listed here is a 100 percent small business set-aside within a 50 mile radius of Monterey CA. The Government will only accept offers from small business concerns within the required mile radius. The place of contract performance is Monterey CA.
