- The Aviation Integration Directorate (AMCOM) proposes to procure on a sole source basis, using multiple contracts, the remanufacture of eight (8) MH-47G aircraft, to include Over and Above (O&A) work on Government Furnished Property and Material, Pre-Production Materials/ Long Lead Items (PPM/LLIs) and Initial and Interim Spare Parts (IISP). The intended source is The Boeing Company, Stewart Avenue and Route 291, P.O. Box 16858, Philadelphia, PA 19142-0858, who is the prime manufacturer of the MH-47G helicopter. The Boeing Company is a Large Business and the NAICS for this procurement is 336411. The authority to use other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Government. The anticipated initial award date is 15 February 2011.
