- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. QTY 14; Weight Distributing System both left and right: Must be equal to or greater than U-Haul p/n: 38052; Finish on product must be rust and corrosion resistant, lift brackets included to allow safe and easy hitch hook-up, interchangeable spring bars, assembly hardware and chains attach to spring bars, 2-5/16 inch hitch ball, 14,000 lb gross trailer weight, 8inch: total height adjustment, Rise 5-5/8 inch - drop: 2-3/8 inch, shank length 10 inch, ball to pin hole: 12-3/4 inch, dual sway control, larger reinforcement plate raises ball, #70669 weight distributing shank, bolt together ball mount/shank assembly, pre-assembled sway control ball(s) spring bars have hardware and chains pre-assembled, dual friction sway control brakes pad system to diminish sway from windy conditions and passing vehicles. Tongue weight up to 1,400 lbs ready for safe towing out of the box.
