Description
This solicitation is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR 13. Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N00164-10-T-0062 http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/synopcom.htm is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division plans to issue multiple purchase orders, Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) and/or Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contracts in support of C-130J and derivative Type Model Series (T/M/S) aircraft. Full and open competition. The following is applicable to all CLINS on this order. The S/N associated to GFP on this order is TBD and will be delineated on the DD1149 when the assets ship from NSWC Crane to the contractor facility. This front load procurement is being issued for FY10 repair requirements in support of the C-130J and derivative Type Model Series (T/M/S) aircraft. The Period of Performance (POP) is valid date of award through 30-Sep-10. Interested vendors providing a proposal must have the knowledge and expertise to repair these units in 60 days or sooner after receipt of GFP in accordance with the OEM functional specifications. This equipment must integrate with existing equipment in terms of form, fit, function, and compatibility already installed on the aircraft. Interested vendors must also provide a minimum of three (3) references as past performance, preferably US Government contracts and points of contact for the repair of the same items.All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the Crane web site, FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
