- MEAT & CHEESE This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The United States Penitentiary Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, intends to make multiple awards for perishable subsistence items. Delivery date will be the week of April 12 through April 16, 2010. Deliveries will be made to the Federal Correctional Complex Warehouse, 2 Miles North of Allenwood in Allenwood, Pennsylvania 17810, FCI Schuylkill, P.O. Box 700, Minersville, Pa. 17954 and USP Lewisburg, 2400 Robert F. Miller Drive, Lewisburg, Pa. 17837. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government on a per line item basis. Past performance and price will be considered. No substitutions will be allowed. The solicitation will be made available on or about February 19, 2010. It will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website www.fbo.gov. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about March 19,2010. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 424410. The solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. All responsible small businesses may submit a quote which may be considered
