Underground Pipe into Central Plant Replace the underground pipe from the service manhole at the central plant (Bldg C-2337)to the first connection inside the central plant where an isolation valve can be installed. At the first connection inside the plant an isolation value shall be added if not already there. If an isolation value is already installed at this first connection it shall be replaced. Isolate the underground chilled and medium temperature hot water pipe branches to each building in the 4th BCT compound. The branches to each building are connected into laterals and/or the main line. The isolation valves for each branch to building shall be installed below grade. The three laterals going Wes off of the main line shall each have an isolation value installed below grade in each lateral.
