- Description
- The FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) located at the Atlantic City International Airport, NJ is conducting a market survey based on a 2/18 RFO posting titled "Construction for Electrical Substations for the WJHTC, Bldg. 300" to determine if there are small business electrical construction contractors performing work as identified in the attached scope of work. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes for this requirement is 221121 for Electric Bulk Power Transmissions and Control with a size standard stating "A firm is small if, including its affiliates, it is primarily engaged in the generation, transmission, and/or distribution of electric energy for sale and its total electric output for the preceding fiscal year did not exceed 4 million megawatt hours." Interested small business electrical construction contractors are asked to electronically submit a 2 page capability statement providing relevant experience based upon the successful completion of similar projects. In addition, a completed Business Declaration Form to jeanine.passetti@faa.gov by 4 p.m. eastern time February 22, 2010.
