Interested parties are notified that the inclusion of unique provisions required in implementing the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency, will be required of the successful bidder. ***ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE OF SOLICITATION electronically in Federal Business Opportunities is March 8, 2010.*** The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, material, equipment, services and facilities (except as otherwise specified), to perform the Statement of Work/Specifications. The intent of this solicitation is to provide services, equipment, and labor necessary for maintaining or restoring animal populations that need meadow habitat on the Central Coast Ranger District – Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. Treatment methods vary depending on type of vegetation to be removed and the ability to access sites with machinery. Treatment methods include machine mowing, machine mulching, and hand work. Project areas are located in Benton, Douglas, Lane and Lincoln Counties on the Siuslaw National Forest. The solicitation is a Request for Quote, resulting in a firm, fixed-price contract requiring both a price quote and written response describing past performance of like work. Award will be made to the offeror providing the best value to the Government. This acquisition is a Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 115310.
