- Description
- The US Naval Hospital, Guam intends to award a brand-name only purchase order on a sole source basis (under the authority of FAR 6.302-1) to Parata Systems, LLC, 2600 Meridian Pkwy, Suite 100, Durham, NC 27713. Reference Request For Quotation (RFQ) number N68096-10-T-0018 and NAICS 423450. The requirement is for additional equipment/supplies to provide continued services for our Automatic Pill Dispensing Machine. Parata is the only acceptable manufacturer with software and systems compatible with the existing Parata system utilized in the pharmacy department. USNH Guam currently has the Parata System in place and has been in place for approximately 3 years. USNH Guam must continue to use equipment already in place. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures IAW FAR 13.5. This synopsis is for notification purposes only. Any contractors believing they are capable of providing an equal product that meets all the features/functionality of the Parata Systems Automatic Pill Dispensing Machine may provide their proposal for review and consideration. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
