- Provide and deliver to North Springfield Lake, Springfield, VT a mini hydraulic close radius excavator as described in the following specifications: Operating weight of machine will be approximately 11,000 pounds. The machine will have a liquid cooled diesel engine of approximately 42 horsepower and come equipped with the following : Automatic engine idle feature. Rubber tracks 8 feet 6 inches in length. Straight blade 6 feet 6 inches wide by approximately 15 inches high with float function. Overall dimensions of 6 feet 6 inches wide by approximately 17 feet long and 8 to 8.5 feet high. Mechanical quick connect bucket coupler. One standard 24 inch digging bucket with teeth and one 40 in. landscape/ditching bucket. A minimum digging depth of 12 feet 1 inch.Hydraulic thumb with quick connect hydraulic couplings. Enclosed cab with air conditioning, heat, and AM & FM radio and sliding cab door. Backhoe to excavator control selector valve. An option will be an angle blade. The estimated cost of this procurement is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation will be available on or about 25 February 2010 and will be available for downloading by accessing the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fbo.gov) which links to the FedTeds website (see below). Prospective contractors are required to self register their firm on the Internet to receive this solicitation. Registration instructions are available on the internet at https://www.fedteds.gov. Amendments, if any, will be available at this Internet site. Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests will be accepted. Registrants are responsible for the accuracy of the information on the registration list. This procurement is set aside for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 423830 with a Small Business Size Standard of 100 employees. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the New England District.
