- Description
- The contractor shall plan, coordinate and conduct the SDS System Integration and Test efforts for the Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) Shipboard Integration (SSI) Increment 2 as defined in OD 65961(15 December 2009), Program Plan for Shipboard Data System (SDS) in accordance with the T9001B checklist dated February 23, 2009. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer of the TRIDENT (II) D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and Attack Weapons Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
