- Sole Source Justification This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Reference Number NWWG9502-10-02349 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-33. This procurement is UNRESTRICTED. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS), National Data Buoy Center (NDBC) requires the following items: Item 0001: Sea-Bird SBE-37 SM MicroCAT Conductivity and Temperature Recorder with serial interface & 8 MB Memory--Quantity of 16 each Item 0002: Sea-Bird SBE-39IM MicroCAT Temperature & Pressure Recorder with inductive modem--Quantity of 32 each Item 0003: Sea-Bird SBE-39IM MicroCAT Temperature recorder with inductive modem--Quantity of 128 each The required delivery date for all items is May 3, 2010. All quotes shall be FOB Destination to: NDBC, Bldg 3202, Stennis Space Center, MS 39529. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation and are incorporated by reference: see FAR 52.252-1 Solicitation Provisions Incorporated By Reference (FEB 1998) and FAR 52.252-2 Clauses Incorporated by Reference (Feb 1998). This contract incorporates one or more clauses by reference, with the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. Quotes are to remain effective for 30 days after close of solicitation. Contractors are encouraged to register with the FedBizOpps Vendor Notification Service.
