Description
OSF Industry Day Registration Form The Missile Defense Agency is continuing to seek sources and solutions to enhance its current suite of modeling and simulation (M&S) frameworks. The current frameworks (the Digital Simulation Architecture [DSA] and the Single Stimulation Framework [SSF]) integrate models from each of the BMDS program elements into a system that accurately represents the performance of fielded BMDS equipment against a variety of threats in realistic environments. A desired future framework, hereafter called Objective Simulation Framework, will leverage existing or mature capabilities, develop common interfaces, or propose a combination of both, to join digital and hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) representations into a modular, scalable, reconfigurable, and compose-able system. MDA will conduct Industry Days during the 3rd Quarter, FY10 at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL to exchange information with interested parties regarding the Objective Simulation Framework (OSF) and improve the understanding of the Government requirements and industry capabilities. As part of the Industry Days, potential offerors will have an opportunity to meet with the Government in one-on-one meetings to discuss the OSF. Interested parties who would like to attend the Industry Days must complete the attached OSF Industry Day Registration Form and return it to the Contracting Officer, Mr. Edward Langwinski, edward.langwinski@mda.mil, no later than 26 March 2010. All future notices and information regarding the Industry Days, to include scheduling, shall only be provided to those who submit an OSF Industry Day Registration Form. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.215-3 Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes, the Government will not pay for any costs incurred as a result of this Special Notice, to include costs associated with attending the Industry Days. This Special Notice is NOT a commitment that the Government will definitely award an OSF contract. Submit all responses/inquiries to Mr. Edward Langwinski, Contracting Officer, 256-450-1412, edward.langwinski@mda.mil.
