- Synopsis for Dormitory Appliance Maintenance Services (Requirements) Dyess Air Force Base wishes to contract for Indefinite Delivery - Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) firm-fixed price contract. This solicitation is 100% Set Aside for Small Business. This project consists of the contractor providing all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services to perform dormitory appliance repair and maintenance at Dyess AFB, TX. Appliances include Government-owned refrigerators, ranges, microwaves, washers and dryers. Appliances shall be repaired and replaced in a manner which minimizes Government costs and ensures that dormitory residents have working units available to provide uninterrupted service. The Government will reimburse the Contractor in full for appliances that the Contractor has been directed to replace. The Contractor shall provide major maintenance to include, but not limited to, repair of inoperable appliances, replacing components, parts, filters, handles, hinges, gaskets, refrigeration compressors, burners, etc. Small scale touch-up painting may be performed for maintenance purposes. The performance period is one (1) base year from 1 April 2010 through 30 September 2010 with two (2) option years from 1 October 2010 through 30 September 2012. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811412 with a small business size standard of $33,500,000. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The entire solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 23 Feb 10 via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Web Site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Paper copies will not be available. Telephone and fax requests will not be honored. The closing date and time for submission of offerors will be contained in the solicitation package.
