- RECOVERY - This procurement is being funded via the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Region, has a requirement for construction services necessary for the installation of a pollution abatement pond at the Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery which is located approximately 2 miles south of Leavenworth, Washington in Chelan County. The principal components of work include but are not limited to: demolition and removal of existing trap shooting club house and a portion of an existing 36 inch diameter RCP; site characterization of excavation areas; excavating pond area and access road, stockpiling excavated material, and removing and disposing of the excavated material; furnishing and installing a reinforced concrete inlet structure, a reinforced concrete outlet distribution box, and a precast concrete manhole; furnishing and installing miscellaneous metalwork including, but not limited to: hand railing and posts, steel bar grating, and miscellaneous galvanized metal items, metal measurement weirs, wood grating, and grubbing; earthwork structures and HDPE pipe installation, constructing access road, asphalt pond entrance ramps, and asphalt concrete pond liner; furnishing and installing pressure relief valves in the asphalt pond liner; furnishing and installing chain link fence and gates; seeding areas disturbed by construction; furnishing and laying 24-inch diameter HDPE pipe; and furnishing and installing metal slide gates and shear gates. Contractor shall provide all supplies, equipment, labor, and supervision necessary for completion of the subject work. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 237990. The small business size standard applicable to this project is $33.5 million in gross annual receipts averaged over three one year accounting periods. The order of magnitude for this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This procurement will be awarded using the sealed bid procedures set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 14. This procurement is being advertised on an unrestricted basis. Bids will be accepted from all responsive and responsible small and large business concerns. These reports will be made available to the public. Please also be advised that the Government is waiting on the following two items: (1) a Categorical Exclusion Checklist; and (2) the right of way permission.
