Description
Marine Corps System Command is sponsoring an unclassified Total Force Structure Management System (TFSMS) - Systems Integrator Pre-Solicitation Conference (Industry Day) on 16 March 2010. The purpose of the event is to provide an overview of the TFSMS program and to inform industry of program requirements. The General Session will be held on 16 March 2010 at the Gen. Alfred M. Gray Research Center, Marine Corps Base Quantico, 2040 Broadway Street, Quantico, VA, 22134 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM EST in conference rooms 164, 165, & 166. This announcement is not a contract, request for proposal, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind on the part of the Government. Marine Corps Systems Command will not assume liability for costs incurred by an attendee or for travel expenses or marketing efforts; therefore, attendee cost in response to this notice is not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government. The Statement of Objectives (SOO) (DRAFT) and other Program information will be posted no later than (NLT) 1 March 2010 to the TFSMS documentation library located at http://www.mceits.usmc.mil/service/TFSMSLibrary/index.htm. Written questions will be accepted at the end of Industry Day with answers posted to the TFSMS documentation library (participants will be notified when the answers are posted). Industry Day Registration: This is a no-fee event and seating is limited (currently there is a limit on the number of attendees to 2 people from each company). Attendees are required to pre-register, identifying their citizenship and their position within the company they represent. The Registration Form may be downloaded from the TFSMS documentation library referenced above. Registration Forms must be submitted to Mr. Jorge Martell at jorge.martell@usmc.mil with cc: to Ms. Lisa Botkin, Contracting Officer, at lisa.botkin@usmc.mil NLT 5:00 PM EST, 12 March 2010. An e-mail confirmation will be sent upon receipt. Late registration and "walk-in" requests will not be permitted. Attendees must present a CURRENT photo ID (driver's license, military ID, company ID or passport) matching the attendee information submitted via the Registration Form to gain entry into the event. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to permit sufficient time for check-in.
