- *********ONLY WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE HONORED********* IMPORTANT: TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED ********* The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supervision to perform complete Direct Digital Controls maintenance, operation, troubleshooting and repair services at USCG Base Support Unit, KODIAK, ALASKA from 01 April through 30 September 2010. The Control Systems include but is not limited to all components listed in a Government provided document for approx 4400 programmed "points". Contractor will be required to work Government established hours and respond to emergency jobs 24 hours a day within (2) hours of a call out. Contractor will be selected based on the lowest hourly rate, documented experience, qualifications and proposed work plan as requested in the "Submittal requirements" of the SOW. The proposed contract is a small business set aside. All responsible sources that submit a written quotation will be considered. Materials, workmanship, and installation shall comply with the latest edition of all applicable codes and industry standards and these specifications. Contractor is responsible for field verification of all material sizes and quantities necessary for the performance of this project before quoting. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: All GFE in Attachment B of the SOW will be provided. PERFORMANCE PERIOD is: 01 APR - 30 SEP 2010. SUBMITTALS DUE UPON AWARD may include but are not limited to: manufacturer's catalogs, standard schedules, performance charts, instructions, brochures, diagrams, etc., in addition references / qualifications. Lack of adequacy of references shall be at the sole discretion of the government and may constitute grounds for disqualification. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH requirements of: Underwriter's Laboratories (UL), State of Alaska Administrative Codes, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards; Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), ANSI Standards, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), MIL SPEC, FED STD, and applicable Coast Guard Safety Regulations. ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS ARE CONTAINED IN STATEMENT OF WORK THAT WILL BE INCLUDED WITH REQUEST FOR QUOTE DOCUMENTS WHEN THEY ARE ISSUED ON APPROXIMATELY MARCH 4, 2010. A SITE VISIT WILL BE HELD MARCH 11, 2010. PROPOSALS WILL BE DUE MARCH 25, 2010. LOCATION: U.S. Coast Guard, Base Support Unit, Kodiak, Alaska. Estimated Price Range is less than $100K.
