- Description
- The Department of Labor, Employment & Training Administration (DOL/ETA) intends to award a contract on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR Part 19.1406, Sole source awards to service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns, to a Service-Disabled Veteran-owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The contractor will provide technical assistance and training in support of the National Rapid Response Initiative to aid the public workforce development system on the Federal, state and local level. Specifically, the contractor will provide logistical and meeting planning support, technical assistance tools training development and online community support. ETA conducted market research to identify contractors capable of performing the requirement. ETA’s market research revealed QualX was the sole SDVOSB capable of performing the requirement. In accordance with FAR Part 19.1406, DOL intends to award a contract to QualX. The North American Industry Classification System (NIACS) Code is 541611, with a $7 million size standard. The period of performance for the contract will be twelve (12) months from the date of contract execution.
