- DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS (VA) SEEKS OFFERORS TO CONSTRUCT AN OUTPATIENT CLINIC ON A PRE-SELECTED SITE FOR LEASE TO THE GOVERNMENT IN JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA General Information Document Type: Pre-solicitation Notice Solicitation Number: VA-101-10-RP-0058 Posted Date: February 18, 2010 Original Response Date: March 4, 2010 Current Response Date: March 4, 2010 Set Aside: N/A Contracting Office Address Attn: Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Construction & Facilities Management, Real Property Service, 810 Vermont Avenue, NW, Washington, District Of Columbia 20420 Description The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking offerors to construct an outpatient clinic facility for lease to the Government, for a period of up to 20 years, on a site that has been pre-selected by the Government for an approximate 82,509 NUSF facility. VA has obtained an assignable/transferable purchase option on a 9.56-acre site located on Illinois and Jefferson Streets in Jacksonville, FL. There is a parking requirement for 448 surface spaces. The successful offeror is required to pay the agreed-upon purchase price for the land and construct a clinic based on the specifications, special requirements, floor plan and site layout which will be contained in Solicitation for Offers (SFO) to be issued on/about March 5, 2010. A Pre-bid meeting for this requirement will be held on/about March 17, 2010. The exact location and time will be sent to all respondents to this ad. All interested parties should respond to this announcement no later than March 4, 2010, 4:00 PM EST.
