Description
The scope of this contract encompasses all aspects of personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, services and other items as necessary to perform facilities operations, maintenance, repair, logistics support, and construction services. The customer to be serviced by this contract will belong to a secure agency. The type of work performed will be for a secure site and may include, but not limited to: all materials, parts and labor for the following systems: electrical maintenance services; operation, maintenance and repair services for heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and refrigeration systems and equipment; pest control; chilled water treatment; solid waste collection and disposal; building control systems; and fire protection systems operation and maintenance, and grounds maintenance. Minor repairs (at or below $5,000 per item per incident), cosmetic upgrades and/or minor repairs are included in the firm fixed price. Major repairs (exceeding $5,000.00 per item per incident) shall be considered reimbursable items. This proposed procurement is restricted to Small Business contractors who posses a TS/SCI facility site clearance. NAICS code 561210, size standard $35,500,000.00. Period of Performance will be (1) one year from date of contract award with four optional periods. The RFP will be posted on or about 4 March 2010 and will be posted to FedBizOpps. Drawings, site plans, and building equipment lists will need to be picked up in person. To arrange for pick up, email Nina.Albritton@usace.army.mil. Only small business contractors possessing a TS/SCI facility site clearance should pick up the documents. A memorandum at time of pick up is required to be signed by a corporate officer on behalf of the company. All drawings, site plans, and building equipment lists, must be returned following award. Qualified contractors are encouraged to attend a site visit on or about 17 March 2010. Contractors are required to provide the following information to Nina Albritton via email at Nina.Albritton@usace.army.mil for each person that requests to attend, full names, social security numbers, dates of birth, places of birth, and company names. Each prospective offeror will be limited to no more than 2 individuals attending the site visit. Questions may be directed in writing to Nina Albritton via email at Nina.Albritton@usace.army.mil. All questions and clarifications are required to be in writing no later than close of business 19 March 2010.
