- Description
- The USDA Forest Service, Northern Province Acquisitions, Redding Office, anticipates issuing a commercial solicitation for manual site preparation work on National Forest land on the Klamath National Forest, Siskiyou County, California. Work will include felling trees and cutting brush as a site preparation treatment to remove wildfire-killed or damaged trees and brush; bucking, lopping and scattering slash to rearrange the slash concentrations on the ground; hand piling slash and covering piles to concentrate slash in piles for burning and fire line construction to keep burning material within a confined area. Estimated start work date is April 1, 2010 with contract time of 67 calendar days. Solicitation will be available for downloading from this website on or about March 4, 2010.
