- This notice is being placed as required by FAR 5.203(a). The U.S. Census Bureau, Acquisition Division, Suitland, MD, intends to award a fixed price contract to Blue Lance, Inc. for Software Support and License Maintenance (NAICS code 541512). Services under the proposed contract action are to continue support and maintenance to the LT Auditor+ v9 for Windows Server and v8.0 for Netware, used to help meet regulatory compliance requirements and to ensure the security of corporate information. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, as authorized under FAR part 6.302-1. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition from qualified source(s) is available in the open market. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition is solely within the discretion of the Government. However, any response to this notice received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered.
