- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command Aircraft Division (NAVAIR-AD), Patuxent River, Maryland has a requirement for providing in-flight instruction course, which are provided by Calspan Corporation. Calspan is the only known company with the mandatory information. NAVAIR-AD intends to negotiate solely with Calspan Corporation for the above items with an anticipated award date of 23 Feb 2010 and an estimated delivery date of 15- 26 March 2010 to NAVAIR Patuxent River, MD. All responsible sources may submit a capabilities statement, which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Technical capability will be determined solely on the content and merit of the information submitted in response to this provision. Therefore, it is incumbent on the interested party to provide sufficient technical literature, documentation, etc. in order for the Government to make an adequate technical assessment. The Government reserves the right to process the procurement on a sole source basis for the brand specific item based upon the responses received. The Government will not pay for any information received. Inspection and Acceptance shall be FOB destination. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DOD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.ccr.gov/vendor.cfm.
