- Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to: Construct Munuscong Channel Junction Light (LLNR 13030) at U. S. Coast Guard Station St. Ignace, St. Ignace, MI. The work includes but is not limited to: Fabricate the pile driving template, ice protection cone, handrails, ladder rungs and associated components as required; Fabricate the navigational aid tower from plate, bar stock, pipe and structural shapes from drawings; remove and salvage existing lighted buoy, concrete sinker, and anchor chain; Survey and position new light structure; Drive the center pile at the structure center and set the pile driving template; Set and drive steel sheet to form the sheet pile cell around the driving template; Place stone fill at the base of the sheet pile cell to the elevation indicated and pour the concrete water seal atop the stone fill; install the ice protection. This procurement is estimated between $500K and $1M. This procurement is a HUBZONE set-aside. The applicable NAICS is 237990 $33.5M. Completion time is 150 DANTP. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the agency. NO TELEPHONE OR WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATIONS OR POSTING STATUS WILL BE ACCEPTED. TENTATIVE date for posting the solicitation is 3/8/2010 with an estimated date for bid opening of 4/8/2010. The exact time set for the opening of bids will be established upon issuance of the Invitation for Bid. Interested parties are encouraged to register at the FBO website to be notified when information on this project is uploaded. When available, all relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings will be available for download exclusively from the Internet by accessing the government-wide Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at https://fbo.gov. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be posted solely on this website. NOTE: The Coast Guard distributes the Technical Data Package (TDP) portion of the solicitation through the Federal Business Opportunities website.
