- PLEASE NOTE PROPOSAL DUE DATE, 26 FEB 2010 This is a requirement for the purchase of wax removal chemicals. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. The solicitation number will be FA8125-10-Q-0123. The item and quantities are as follows: Item 0001: Bioact 280 Precision Cleaner -OR- D-Solv; Quantity: 30 each, 55 Gal. Drums Item 0002: Brulin 815 GD -OR- Soluwax; Quantity: 30 each, 55 Gal. Drums The wax removal process requires one of the following alternatives: Bioact 280 and Brulin 815GD -OR- D-Solv and Soluwax Therefore, Bioact 280 and Bruling 815GD must be purchased as a pair or D-Solv and Soluwax must be purchased as a pair. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 18 February 2010. PR Number is F3YCEA9342A001 NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
