Description

RECOVERY - THIS IS A PROJECT UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT. This is a pre-solicitation notice for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to supply and construct various elements to increase the capacity of the sanitary sewer treatment system within the Hoh Rainforest in Olympic National Park, in accordance with the scope of work and specifications incorporated herein. The Work includes removal of existing septic tanks, installation of new pumps, septic tanks, sanitary systems and new drip emitter drain field. The contractor will work closely with both the National Park Service and the Department of Health to provide the most appropriate system meeting the needs of the National Park Service. The NAICS code is 237110. The small business size standard is $33,500,000. The estimated price range for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This project is being solicited and awarded in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public law 100-656 and is open to both small and large businesses. The solicitation with specifications, drawings, and wage rates will be posted to the websites http:///www.fbo.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about March 8, 2010 with a response date 30 days thereafter. A pre-proposal conference/site visit will be held at the time and place specified in the solicitation. A negotiated firm-fixed price contract will be awarded requiring submission of both a technical and a price proposal. The Government will consider an offeror's technical capability in comparison to its price. To receive the solicitation package, you must download it from http://ideasec.nbc.gov. No hardcopies will be mailed or faxed. Any questions must be in writing and emailed to Phaedra_Fuller@NPS.gov or faxed to 360-565-3018. Interested parties are urged to check for amendments.
