- THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) PROCUREMENT RECOVERY-8 COUNTIES HAZ-FUELS REDUCTION PHASE II. UMPQUA NF, DOUGLAS COUNTY, OREGON. The purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered AG-0489-S-10-0282 on or about March 10, 2010, for the RECOVERY 8 Counties HAZ-FUELS Reduction Phase II. If the solicitation is released, it will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this FedBizOpps website from time to time on or after March 10, 2010, to obtain a copy of the solicitation. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201. However, the Forest Service reserves the right not to release a solicitation. PROJECT DESCRIPTION. The U.S. Forest Service, EROC-NW, servicing Region 6 has a requirement for 8 Counties HAZ-FUELS Reduction Phase II. Precommercial thinning and brush release, hand ile and cover, lop and scatter, and pruning. The contractor shall supply all services, labor, equipment and material, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals except those items, if any, listed as Government-furnished property needed to perform the following: 8 Counties HAZ-FUELS Reduction Phase II in compliance with its terms, specifications, and provisions. The Government intends to award a negotiated firm fixed price contract. PROJECT LOCATION – The location of the worksite is in Dumont Creek and boulder Creek drainages on the Tiller Ranger District, primarily Township 28 South Range 1 West, and Township 29 South, Range 1 West, Willamette Meridian. PARTICIPATION. This acquisition is a Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 115310. The size standard is $7 Million. Contractors are required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). The solicitation with specifications and Services Contract Act wage rates will be posted to the FedBizOps website www.fbo.gov. REGISTRATIONS.
