- Description
- The Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant HealthInspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS), Riverdale, MD, intends to acquire an estimated 21,000(M) cattle backtags with three numbers and one barcode with a check digit and 22,000 (M) cattle backtags with four large numbers and one barcode and check digit. (M = thousand). Single or double tags may be ordered. Bid samples will be required. Tags shall be made of waterproof paperstock. Just In Time Delivery will be used in this procurement. The Contractor is responsible for shipping backtags to as many as 50 different markets across the United States within 48 hours after receipt of an order. Emergency orders are to be shipped within 24 hours after receipt of an order. Contractor is responsible for all shipping cost incurred. This will be a fixed-price, requirements contract for a one (1) year period, with the option to renew four (4) additional years. FOB Destination. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business. The NAICS code is 322299. The small business size standard is 500 employees, or less. The RFP AG-6395-S-10-0055, is to be affixed to all documents submitted in reference to this requirement. Telephone requests will not be accepted. ALL QUESTIONS SHALL BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING VIA EMAIL TO THE CONTRACTING OFFICER. The Government intends to provide the solicitation and all amendments via this web site only. NOTIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE SENT TO OFFEROR REGARDING THE ISSUANCE OF THE SOLICITATION NOR ANY OF ITS AMENDMENTS. IT IS THE FFEROR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THIS WEB SITE PERIODICALL FOR UPDATES. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. All changes to the pre-solicitation notice, solicitation and any attachments shall be posted to the website at: www.FedBizOpps.gov. The offeror must submit a street mailing address and an email address (if available) in all correspondence in reference to this requirement. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted to this website on or about March 5, 2010.
