- Description(s): THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) PROCUREMENT. The resulting contract will utilize funds provided by the AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) of 2009; interested parties are notified that the inclusion of unique provisions required in implementing the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency, will be required of the successful bidder. The purpose of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered AG-82B1-S-10-0210 on or about March 15 for the RECOVERY Dominion Creek Culverts Project. If the solicitation is released, it will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this FedBizOpps website from time to time on or after April 15, 2010 to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information about this acquisition will be distributed solely through this website. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201; however, the Forest Service reserves the right not to release a solicitation. RECOVERY Dominion Creek Culverts Project. This project involves the removing of existing culverts and furnishing and installing two Bottomless Arch Culverts with precast concrete footings, at MP 0.8, install a 19’x8’3”x70’ culvert, and at MP 1.7, install a 19’x8’3”x68’ culvert. PROJECT LOCATION: Both sites are located near Taft, MT on the Superior Ranger District, Lolo National Forest. They are located at MP 0.8 and 1.7 on FS Road #7555 in Sections 18 and 19, Township 19 North, Range 31 West, Mineral County, Montana. There is no pre-bid/pre-conference scheduled for this effort. Questions regarding the project may be directed to Nate Kegel, Superior RD, at (406) 822-3927. The project cost estimate is between $100,000 and $250,000. Performance and payment bonds will be required per the Miller Act and Davis Bacon wage rates will apply. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the Government. In accordance with FAR 4.1102(a), prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR on the part of the offeror will render an offeror ineligible for award. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 888-227-2423 or via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov//.
