- This is not a request for either a quote or proposal, or an invitation for bid. The intent of this pre-solicitation synopsis is to identify potential offerors for RM09-0808, Berth 15 Repairs, Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia.This contract will accomplish repairs to the Berth 15 open wharf structure at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Repairs will include demolition and replacement of the existing wharf structure, pavement, mooring fixtures, the timber fender system, and underground utilities. A steel sheet pile bulkhead will be placed outboard of the existing bulkhead, and the new open wharf shall be a concrete beam and slab structure supported on prestressed concrete piles. The work will include the removal and replacement/reinstallation of existing utilities, equipment, structures and appurtenances within and adjacent to the open wharf, as well as incidental civil sitework. The drawings and specifications for this project are posted with the pre-solicitation synopsis for review and comments from interested parties. Item 0001, Base Price is the price for the entire work, complete in accordance with the requirements of the RFP including drawings and specifications. The completion time for this contract is 515 calendar days after award. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 237990 and the annual size standard is $33.5M. This procurement is unrestricted. The total estimated cost for this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
