- The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), in support of theProgram Executive Office (PEO) Command, Control, Communications,Computers and Intelligence (C4I) Navy Communications Program Office, CodePMW/A 170 Navigation Sensor System Interface (NAVSSI) program, intends toaward a sole-source Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to Trimble Military &Advanced Systems, Inc. 935 Stewart Rd., Sunnyvale, CA 94085 to develop amodified GVRC firmware version to resolve the known issue whereby GlobalPositioning System (GPS) Versa Module Eurocard (VME) Receiver Cards (GVRCs)are reporting the incorrect day, month, and year for all GVRCs operating aspartof NAVSSI Block 3 and NAVSSI Block 4 systems. Trimble is the OriginalEquipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the GVRC card and is the only knownresponsible source with the capability to perform the modification fix. Thecontract will be awarded in accordance with FAR Part 13. Interested persons mayidentify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement.
