- THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) PROCUREMENT RECOVERY- Resurface Forest Road 23, Gifford Pinchot NF, Mount Adams Ranger District, Skamania County, Carson, Washington. THE PURPOSE of this announcement is to make notice that the Forest Service contemplates releasing a solicitation numbered AG-0489-S-10-0277 on or about March 15, 2010, to Resurface Forest Road 23, Gifford Pinchot NF, Mount Adams Ranger District, Skamania County, Carson, Washington. If the solicitation is released, it will be released through this FedBizOpps website, and prospective bidders should visit this FedBizOpps website from time to time on or after March 15, 2010, to obtain a copy of the solicitation. This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201. However, the Forest Service reserves the right not to release a solicitation. PROJECT DESCRIPTION. The U.S. Forest Service, EROC-NW, servicing Region 6 has a requirement to resurface forest road 23, Gifford Pinchot NF, Mount Adams Ranger District, Skamania County, Carson, Washington. Forest road 23 resurfacing requires prepping, hauling and replacement of new road material and debris as stated in statement of work and bid schedule. The contractor shall supply all services, labor, equipment and material, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals except those items, if any, listed as Government-furnished property needed to perform the following: Resurface Forest Road 23 in compliance with its terms, specifications, and provisions of the contract. The magnitude of construction for this acquisition is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Government intends to award a negotiated firm fixed price contract. PROJECT LOCATION – Mount Adams Ranger District on Forest Road 23 between milepost 33.5 and milepost 35.65. Material source location is Baby Shoe Quarry. PARTICIPATION. This acquisition is Full and Open under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 237310. The size standard is $33.5 Million. The solicitation with specifications and Davis Bacon Contract Act wage rates will be posted to the FedBizOps website www.fbo.gov. REGISTRATIONS.
