- The 36th Contracting Squadron INTENDS TO MAKE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD to Cabras Marine Corporation for the charter of one crewboat to transport scientists to the Pagan Islands. The work consists of providing support for approximately 12 scientists and equipment for 8 days at sea. The contractor must provide services including cruise operations, emergency medical care and to provide suitable living and working conditions. This requirement is in support of the Remote Sensing Division of the Naval Research Laboratory. Under the authority provided in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, the Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available. Interested parties are invited to submit information concerning their capabilities, experience, and data pertinent to their ability to provide the same equipment for use in this project that meet this requirement no later than 14 February 2010 at 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time. Written responses must provide clear and concise documentation indicating your firm's capability to provide information submitted. Respondents will not be notified of the results of an evaluation of the information received. No contract award will be made on the basis of responses received; however, this information will be used in the Contracting Officer's assessment of capable sources.
