- Description
- 623-KE-10-008 Solicitation The United States Govrnment, represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), is seeking applications from U.S. citizens for the position of Kenya Education Advisor to be responsible for participating fully within the Office of Education Development in providing leadership and management to all USAID education programs/projects that focus primarily on equiping children and youth with the knowledge and skills to be socially responsible and economically productive citizens of Kenya. The PSC will also liasie with government officials, other donors, the private sector, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and private voluntary organizations (PVOs), and ensure that USAID/Kenya is fully engaged with the Government of Kenya (GOK) on its education sector reform agenda. The PSC will serve for a period of two years, with the option to extend for longer, subject to availability of funds, contractor performance, and continuing need for the position.
