- PARKING LOT UPGRADES AT BORDER PATROL SECTOR HEADQUARTERS, SWANTON, VERMONT NOTICE #: VT0029ZZ THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or a request for proposal and no contract will be awarded from this notice. No solicitation or specifications are available at this time. The General Services Administration (GSA), New England Region, North Service Center Branch, is seeking a Small Business concern with current relevant qualifications, experience, personnel, and capability to perform the work described herein. Construction will be performed at the Border Patrol Sector Headquarters Parking Lot located in Swanton, Vermont. The firm shall demonstrate construction capabilities in paving parking lots. The project provides for the redevelopment of existing parking/access areas including removal of pavements, pavement markings, trees and landscaping, salvage of an existing flag pole, monument sign and mail box for installation in an alternate location and construction of pavements, landscaping, curbing, flag pole, exterior lighting, signs, pavement markings and walks. The approximate area of the parking lot is 1,500 square yards. All qualified Small Businesses, specifically, HUBZone and Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVO), are encouraged to respond. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. One of the main purposes of this Sources Sought Notice is to assist the Contracting Officer in determining if a 100% Small Business Set-Aside is the acceptable strategy for the procurement. The Government anticipates a contract for award of this in May 2010. The appropriate NAICS Code is 238910, Site Preparation Contractors, with a size standard of $14.0 million dollars. The estimated value of the project is $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. It is requested that interested parties submit a brief narrative of capabilities. Examples of projects worked on within the last five years of similar size, scope and complexity as the work indicated. State whether your firm worked as prime or subcontractor. Provide the contract value, a brief description of how the referenced contract relates to the work described herein and an agency point of contact. (1) Company profile, to include number of employees, annual receipts, office Location(s), and DUNS number. (2) Indicate if you are a Small Business and the Small Business category (s) you qualify as. This Sources Sought Notice is not expected to be a proposal, but rather a short statement regarding the company’s ability to demonstrate existing expertise and experience in relation to this procurement. Any commercial brochures or currently existing marketing material may also be submitted.
