Description
DESCRIPTION: The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSCPAC) intends to modify sole source contract N66001-08-C-0139 entitledCoalition Mobility System (CMS) Joint Capability Technology Demonstration(JCTD) Systems Engineering and Development. The incumbent contractor isTapestry Solutions, Inc. (formerly known as Federated Software Group (FSG))located at 5643 Copley Drive, San Diego, CA 92111-7903. Authority for otherthan full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, OnlyOne Responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agencyrequirements. The requirement is to Transition to a Program of Record (POR).The contractor shall address all security requirements of the USTRANSCOM PORand provide input to POR required documents. As required, the contractor shallprovide any information necessary for the POR to operationalize the CMSsystem and complete Certification and Accreditation testing. Contract N66001-08-C-0139 period of performance will be extended 6 months (31 March 2011). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, theGovernment will consider all interest and capability statements received within15 days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by theGovernment not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solelywithin the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally beconsidered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitiveprocurement. Any resulting procurement would be conducted in accordance withFAR Part 15.
