- This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-38. This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION. OFFERS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The Solicitation Number for this procurement, a Request for Quotation is AG-63A9-S-10-0008. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 441229, All Other Motor Vehicle Dealers, with a small business size standard of 500 employees or less. The United States Department of Agriculture, Forest Service, anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price contract for a set of de Havilland Beaver Wheel aircraft skis delivered to the USDA Forest Service at 1901 W Shagawa Rd, Ely, MN 55731. Award will be made to the offeror whose offer is most advantageous to the Government based on the factors contained in this solicitation. Commercial Items FAR Clauses 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; and 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders, Commercial Items, 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal apply to this solicitation. Contractors may submit their Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) online at the following Government website: http://orca.bpn.gov. DESCRIPTION: New/used or pre-owned set of de Havilland Beaver Wheel skis, with the following: Skis, factory silver with Beaver rigging, part# CTUS1318A: 1/pair (L/R). Tail ski part# CTUS1253: 1/ea. Pump, hand type, part# C3FF517: 1/ea. Kidney tank, part# C2US1009ND: 1/ea.. All parts and accessories are to be in New or Low Time condition. Warranty: Unless new, ”As is, no warranty expressed or implied is acceptable”. FOB Point: Destination Delivery Time: 30 days ARO HOW TO COMPETE FOR THIS CONTRACT: The offeror must submit a firm fixed price proposal, in U. S. dollars, including delivery of the snowmobiles to the three separate locations listed above. Offeror must also provide descriptive literature if proposing an equal for approval.
