- RECOVERY: Energy Efficiency Upgrades Design-Build (D/B) Construction Services at the Wheeler Federal Office Building in Baker City Oregon - GSA, Northwest/Arctic Region ****FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY**** RECOVERY- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. The General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS) Northwest/Arctic Region (Region 10) has a requirement to improve energy efficiency in the David J. Wheeler Federal Office Building located in Baker City Oregon by repairing and replacing the worn and failing building systems and components with a design and product use strategy that will incorporate the highest performance energy and green building technologies. THIS PROJECT IS FUNDED BY THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA) This acquisition is for Energy Efficiency Upgrades Design-Build (D/B) construction services at the Wheeler Federal Office Building which includes; the replacement of boilers, replacement of and upgrade to the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems (HVAC) and components - conversion to Variable Air Volume (VAV), economizer controls, upgrade to Building Automation Systems (BAS); as well as upgrades to other items - lighting control, plumbing fixtures and building envelop improvements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS. This acquisition will be competed among the current GSA Region 10 Eastern Service Center Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) holders that service the states of Washington, Oregon and Idaho. This acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 236220 - "Building Alterations, Nonresidential, Commercial & Institutional (General Construction)".
