- Site visit information, site visit scheduled for 16 Feb 10 at 1400. RFQ - return NLT COB 19 Feb 10 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ # F3V3E29233A002. This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE under the North American Industrial Classification Standard code # 339999 and Small Business Size Standard 500, applies to this procurement. IAW FAR 252.204-7004, all firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2007-18 and Defense Acquisition Circular 2007-08. Description of requirements: 01- The burn module will be an 8' x 10' ISO container with steel and welded flooring, all fire walls will be insulated and designed to withstand repeated high temperature evolutions. Drainage weeps shall be installed under concrete paving blocks lining the floor. The training module will be 8' x 20' ISO container with ventilation hatches and hinged 8' x 2' heat baffle system. Unit will be installed on 40' x 16' concrete pad, construction included with flashover trainer. Specification of SOW provided for reference.
