- THIS IS AN AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA) ACTION. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. This opportunity is available only to the contractor under Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract established by the Forest Service. A single award IDIQ contract was made under a competitive solicitation. IDIQ vendors were evaluated. A Fixed Price Redetermination contract was awarded to the IDIQ contractor which provided the best value to the Government based on whose proposal was technically acceptable and whose technical/cost relationship was the most advantageous to the Government. This task order is for removal of wood material in the 5-12" dbh and 12"+ dbh size classes, precommercial thinning and treatment of the residue resulting from the precommercial, roundwood, and sawtimber treatments, and other biomass treatments. Other associated harvest and thinning activities include road maintenance and erosion control.
